Not bad, not goodAug 25, 2011
By Phyllis Wheatley
It's not the most well made product.
It's not bad but not great either.
Note: The whole headset is not covered under warranty, just the headset itself.
The receiver, the mic would need to be purchased if broken.
We had to buy the receiver and that's when we found out the receiver
(and mic too but we did not need that) had to be purchased again.
So for an item that was pretty expensive, you think they would cover
their product better
Need itOct 07, 2013

I am also seeking a replacement. I bought the unit brand new from Fry's and didn't open the package for a couple of days. When I opened it, someone stole the transmitter on the same day. I waited a few days to deal with it because I was so angry and had just blown the money for the headset to begin with so I didn't want to have to spend $50 or whatever to replace the wireless transmitter. At any rate, after a couple of weeks, I was ready to let go of the additional $50 and pow! There aren't any more available. Horrible experience. Shame, Shame, Shame. Also, I noticed other people saying the warranty didn't extend to the mic or the transmitter. Shame on Creative for not at least keeping some on hand for people that break them and realize the warranty doesn't cover the entire item. Mine was stolen, so whatever, but if I called up with a warranty issue and was told it wasn't covered and there was no replacements available, I would be blogging my rear end off about it. Bad Creative. The sad thing is that I don't want to support Monster because they are against freedom on the internet. So, my choices for cool headsets are dwindling.
Can't find a transmitter replacement eitherJul 20, 2013
Headset was pretty good until the reciever broke. I've had the headset lying around for over a year now checking occasionally for some. I have it on my Amazon wishlist. No go. the headset is worthless now. I'm about to trash it.
Creative, can't you support your products?
And why does Amazon think this is a game review?
