Seems to be out of stock.Jun 19, 2012
Mine that came with my USB headset worked fine until it finally started cutting out here and there when I barely moved it. It's a generic USB cord, with a USB A Male to USB Mini B 5-pin connection. When I had to replace it, they were out of stock, and after talking to support, they certainly could not give a timeframe where they thought they were going to restock. If you need a replacement, just jump on newegg, or something much like this - AmazonBasics USB 2.0 A-Male to Mini-B Cable (6 Feet / 1.8 Meters). I would bet a local Radioshack would also carry the generic cord to replace this.
Not a bad cord, lasted me two years, and it got a little bit smashed here and there and worked fine until a month ago. It's just confusing because it's not clear that it's a generic plug.
+1 to Creative for using a generic USB cord. If not, and they didn't restock this I would have been angry because they would have had a perfectly fine working headset, without a cord, and would have bought steelseries the next time.
'gluck if you need a replacement for this and you want to find this cord exactly. Hopefully this helps you to not waste time trying to find a cord just to get your headset to work.
Needed to replace the original cableOct 31, 2011
Sister's cat chewed up the original cable so had to replace the cable.
Pros: Inexpensive and effective
Cons: Cable seems to be more likely to be chewed through by pets than a typical plastic coated cable
