impressed..Feb 25, 2012
ok..let my say this, i returned two sets of gaming head set to finally come up with these.. i first had some Mad Katz AMPX( which wasnt bad)..then i returned them and got u guess it some Turtle Beach X12.. i most say the Mad Katz seemed better to me as for sound and bass goes and for the money i spent on the the Turtle Beach..very dissaponted..but the Sound Blasters made up for that with the price point and sound for the price..not bad!

Price very reasonable compared to other models on the market
I hate it.Nov 10, 2013
I bought these because of a promotion with a video game I have, and I gotta say-- I hate this headset. The sound quality is somehow bad despite the codecs used-- even my $15 Logitech headset had less static. This headset is also uncomfortably tight after about five minutes of use, especially if you wear glasses.
The only thing that's even kind of cool about this headset is that it comes with the attachments to use it for the Xbox. Those work pretty well, so I just started using a different headset in conjunction with that.
Good for the priceMay 09, 2013

I am having some issues with volume control and mic in volume. I mainly use my headset with Ventrilo for gaming. I've had several people complain that they can't hear me even though I've gone into my settings and adjusted my mic settings. Others hear me just fine. On my end, some people that I"d previously adjusted volumes on needed to be readjusted. A few have to be readjusted frequently. May or may not be related to the headset itself.
Another issue I've had: Occasionally, I throw the wire for the headset behind my back (mostly when I'm in a video call). I leaned back in my chair and accidentally depressed the volume down button. Took me a few to figure out why everyone was so quiet!
Overall, I am pleased with this purchase!

I was looking for a new headset, preferably something under $25. I stumbled upon this headset and was intrigued by it, as it looked decently nicer than the other headsets available for the price. After shipping and what not it only came to $17.50. I purchased the headset and it quickly arrived at my house about 2-3 days later.
My impression of it:
Has many wires: -wire to plug into the xbox controller of course
-A usb wire that plugs into the xbox.
-then another part of the wire which is part of the usb wire that goes to your audio jacks in the television. You don't really need that wire as it's only so you can hear the game itself through the headset. I also had trouble getting it to work (technical problems), but that might just be my lack of knowledge. Another problem seemed to be that the wire you need to connect to the audio jacks was too short, unless you have the xbox RIGHT next to the tv.
That's the one downfall to this product.
Other than that , my friends can hear me perfectly, and the headset is super comfortable. The earphones have a nice smooth material to them. I would definitely recommend this product, as it seems to be the nicest available headset for the price. (in my case it was $17.50 with shipping included)
The PREVIOUS review was from the first day I got the product and used it.
Two days later I started to notice that my friends could barely hear me anymore. I'd have to basically press the mic up against my face so they could hear me and even then it wasn't nearly as good as it was the first day I got it. I'm VERY disappointed, because I thought the product had merit as it worked perfectly the first day. I wouldn't recommend buying this product.
