I purchased this web-cam to use with the Skype application on my Mac Mini. I didn't need a built-in mic since I have a separate high-quality cardioid mic. Set up was a breeze and no special drivers were required. Skype automatically picked up the camera and reports from my callers indicated that image quality was very good. It's inexpensive and works great...

Creative Live evolves your laptop if you don't have webcam because I didn't order webcam on my laptop and I'm really satisfied to have this tiny and light webcam and also have good picture and resolution.

I am a tech geek and bought this just to try it and review it and its an amazing cam super cheap in price east setup and works amazing. Setup is just plug it in and the computer does the rest. No software needed.

I bought it specifically for hooking it to a mac mini but there was no sound. Works ok with a windows pc.
