I have these speakers connected to a wireless receiver (Creative SB0840). The hook up was easy and the sound is acceptable.

This was birthday gift for my son stationed in Iraq.
He loves them and said they add a bit of "home" to the environment! He says the sound quality is awesome and the speakers live up to the advertised qualities.

I rarely write reviews on the products that I purchase but I must admit that this was an OUTSTANDING value for under $50.
The overall quality of these speakers is superb and the sound quality is really great for the price.
You really can't go wrong with these!

If you want powered speakers for you computer, these are the ones to get!

These are not the perfect pair of PC speakers but they're bloody close. If you're willing to spend over $150 you can get better but at this price point, you cannot beat them! The sound they pump out is amazing compared to others I have tried (bose, logitech) and at a much lower cost! I can now blast music directly from my PC without having to go through my stereo speakers for great sound (via my Philips Streamium which can be finicky).
They were easy to set up and I had them working within 10 minutes of opening the box. Besides the volume button there is a tone button that allows for a fair amount of adjustment. Each speaker also has a tweeter and woofer port. They measure 7.5" tall x 3.5" wide with a depth of 5.5" to provide a great sound experience but can make them difficult for small work spaces.
I was looking for cheap speakers with good sound to stand in until I could save up for the Altrec speakers recommended to me but I might stick with these. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND these speakers, especially at the price of under $50.
