An excellent buy but not something you'd want to listen to all day long.
I use these as an adjunct to my exercise bike and run my iPod through them. They get the job done.
For what it's worth, I paid about $15 for them locally.

I had to return these Creative Labs Inspire 245 Multimedia Speakers. I have to say that Amazon was very quick with processing the refund. As all us know, you get what you pay for. The speakers squeaked and scratched but didn't produce much noise beyond that. I wouldn't waste my time or money these again. Thumbs down!

I used to sell a lot of cheap speakers - these are fine for the money, but the sound quality is pretty bad. You get what you pay for. It's all that I needed for the job.

Pretty good volume for a low priced speaker. Actually better midrange than I expected for the cost. Surely, You can't seriously expect any bass for this price!

The sound quality is decent for the cheap price, and the volume does get loud (although with a little bit worse quality when loud). The speakers have a strong toxic smell (from the cloth covers) that does not go away.
