5Wow this thing is amazingJan 12, 2009

I bought the speakers as a gift and I am truly amazed at the sound that comes out of them. Creative has always been known for good tech, but the TravelSound is really a great product. If you own a Zen Mozaic...then you have to get this product...especially at the low price Amazon has it for.

I got this after I lost my Zen V because the Mosaic will not work in any other travel sound speakers. I wish the the companies woud make their products more compatible across their product lines. This has a small foot print and fits nicely in my purse and even a pocket. The sound is good when I am listening to audio books but is very tinny for music. My other travel sound speakers had a power cord and could acutally charge the player when it was docked. A really nice feature was you could listen to the player while it is charging. I was disappointed when this one did not have this feature. The power switch is on the top and you need to turn off the speaker AND the player as 2 seperate steps. So many times I forget to turn off the speakers. The battery life seems adequate but I have not taken it camping to see how that works. Overall I am satisfied as I acutaly use it more than I thought. It is nice when I do my gardening and I am listening to a book. No earplug wires to get tangled in my tools.

This product has a excelent sound for it size. But it has two thing, one bad, one great.
The great was that it is rechargeable, it have a inner battery.
The bad, was that you cant charge the speaker battery and play music in it at the same when the battery is wasted, you have only one possibility, put it to charge without hearing the music.

5A Must Buy X-Fi AccessorySep 15, 2009
By Marlou R. Sponhower
I've been a Creative Labs fan for years now. I recently had to upgrade to the X-Fi because of 'sticky' fingers on my MP3, yup someone lifted my Zen Vision-M. I went with the X-Fi and a few accessories and this travel dock was one. One feature that IPod can't beat is the USB plug in and charge. Ladies, this docking station is small enough to fit in your purse!! I love it!

3Get what you pay forJun 22, 2009

Actually bought this from the Creative site as a package with the 8GB player (which I love). Speakers do have a bit of a dirty sound on some songs, and not much bass, but they're incredibly portable and easy to use, great for a hotel room or outdoors when it's a small group. Definitely not something to rely on for a party. Battery life has been good so far...
