I've put screen protectors on various portable electronics, such as my iPad and several tablets belonging to friends. This one posed a bit of difficulty. Allow me to explain, and I'll explain how I got around this (I wound up messing up the first attempt, so it's a good thing this comes in a pack of three).
The SLIGHTEST bit of dirt, hair, a microscopic flake of dead skin, whatever, is going to cause a problem. Many screen protectors get around this by giving you a solution to spray on, which you then squeegee out, which gets any debris off the screen. The solution then evaporates. This has no such thing, which is fine. However, if you have the tiniest bit of debris on the screen, you WILL have a bubble form on the screen. You may not even see the debris until you put the screen protector on, then you'll have a big ugly bubble glaring at you.
So here's my solution: Use a lint-free cloth, moistened with rubbing alcohol. Clean your screen thoroughly, clean AROUND the screen thoroughly. Clean your HANDS thoroughly. After the alcohol has all evaporated, it may leave some streaks, so rub the screen with a dry lint-free cloth. Hold your Zen X-Fi Style on the sides, and take a can of compressed air (for dusting electronics) and dust the hell out of that screen. You may use half a can of it just to get every single little speck of dust off. Look at it closely, and keep spraying until you are 100% positive there's no debris left.
THEN follow the instructions for application. Be sure to use some sort of squeegee (improvise if you must, I used a plastic spatula) to get any bubbles out. When I used the technique mentioned above, I got a clean application with NO bubbles in the screen. Looks great and perfectly clear, so it gets 4 stars. Because the application is a pain and I had to improvise, it doesn't get 5.

Worthless product, has application tabs that should come off free and clear but don't-instead leave a big chunk of adhesive (that won't come off even with solvents). Of course, if its past the return date, impossible to get $ back or replacement. Should really get ZERO stars.
