I bought this case along with my X-Fi 32gb and I thought it would be the greatest thing since sliced bread. I have a silicone case for my Blackberry and I love it. It protects my phone and doesn't collect dust and just looks good. Although it does protect it, it is a pain. The silver buttons on it don't line up with the regular buttons, making it extremely difficult to press the buttons. It also collects lint like the lint catcher in my dryer. Definitely not worth the money. Very bad product from Creative, which is VERY surprising.

Getting some kind of case for a new MP3 player is nearly mandatory (pity the manufacturers still won't ship one with their players), so after buying my Creative X-Fi 32GB I looked around for a case.
I like silicone because it isn't bulky and protects well (not against violent impact, of course). For my previous Creative Zen I'd bought a silicone case which I loved, because it had a snap hook I could attach to a bag strap or to one of my jeans' belt loops. No such luck with the current offerings for the X-Fi, and I really didn't like what I saw except for Creative's own silicone skin.
So that's what I got. I read the reviews complaining about mis-aligned buttons but maybe I was lucky: every detail in the Creative clear silicone skin aligns perfectly with the player, be it the buttons, the on/off switch (which can be a bit hard to reach), the SD card slot, you name it. The player looks protected, it doesn't slip from my grasp and the handling is unaffected by the silicone. It'd be perfect if it had a snap hook.

Protective silicon skin works well to protect the unit for which it was intended. All bottons line up and make it O.K. to navigate and select songs, etc. Only problem I found was that the additional thickness of the skin makes it somewhat difficult to turn the unit on and off.

The silicone case fits perfectly and probably definitely protects the x-fi from physical damage (haven't dropped it yet though).
Only minor setbacks are, buttons do indeed look cheap at first but when placed onto the zen, it's not terrible. Also, the buttons make the player somewhat harder to press, not terribly annoying.
Also the case collects a tiny amount of lint, but it is easily washable.
As well, it creates tiny press marks around the buttons but the marks are hard to see, i'm just OCD as I recently got my zen.

This is one of the best accessory Creative has to protect ZEN X-Fi players. Even though the clear skin is not 100% clear but still it does not hide its looks and features and the best thing is unlike some other skins available for cheaper rates this one also covers the keypad and entire back part keeping it away from dust and fingerprints.
I ordered one and along with this I also ordered the screen protector so now my Zen X-Fi is easy to clean and keep it safe for a few years till the time I get a new one.
