Its the value product that gets it rightApr 19, 2014
The first and probably last Creative product I bought on purpose was the Rio MP3 player, and that was the joint in 1999 - a whopping 128 MB to take your Noreaga and Korn singles to the school bus stop. It was good and way ahead of its time. This item isn't ahead of its time, its right on time. The Muvo 20 speaker doesn't have any reviews probably because its new but I'm here to tell you it is exactly what you're looking for. I'm sure you're comparing a Bose Soundlink or Jambox with the Muvo 20 while asking WHICH ONE? I cant comment on the former but I just sold the latter because it wasn't loud enough to hear within 20 feet outdoors. The Muvo 20 is spot on for what I need. I'm not trying to take a portable speaker with me in my bag so I can bust out impromptu listening sessions in public spaces. I'm trying to take this with me on vacation or to use in settings where its appropriate to listen to music at a pleasing level. And thats why this thing wins; Its a speaker, its loud enough (actually louder than you need most times) and the sound quality is satisfying. It won't push beautiful 20 hz bass that is felt in your chest but from 80 hz up to 14 khz it will get close. Sure, the Jambox is very cool, sexy as hell and puts out acceptable decibel for the size but it doesn't have a good listening experience. This thing does. The bluetooth works as its supposed to and it can charge your USB device too, while also being lightweight overall. The speakerphone works well, I happened to take a call while it was 4 feet away and all was heard and delivered even while projecting away from the microphone.
Oh, and it costs 79$ at time of writing. What in God's name are you spending 300$ on a portable speaker for?

Excellent Sound Quality!May 22, 2014
OH MY GOODNESS!!! This Creative Muvo 20 wireless speaker is AWESOME!!! I only THOUGHT I had heard Mumford & Sons before now. It’s like they’re sitting with me in my kitchen playing their guitars and banjos. DANG! Okay, I’m going to have to calm myself a bit to be able to write a coherent review; the sound quality is blowing me away.
First off, this speaker is very easy to sync. I am by no means a technological genius, and I had my iPod Touch synced and playing music within a minute or two of pulling the speaker out of the box. It charges via a USB cable, which is included but could be easily overlooked; it was hiding behind a piece of cardboard. You can also charge your device with the speaker. If you, like me, have an iPod, you will need to use your iPod cable rather than the cable included to charge your device. You can also answer calls with it, but I’m not a big one for talking on the phone, so I don’t plan on taking advantage of this feature. It’s a little over a foot long, which is a bit larger than I anticipated, but I can still fit it quite comfortably on my kitchen counter or windowsill.
The most important aspect, the sound quality, really is excellent. I have a Memorex speaker/docking station and a little Go Groove Panda Pal portable speaker. Both have decent sound quality, in my opinion, but the Creative Muvo 20 shames them both to the ground. It puts out more sound than I will probably ever want or need. Since it’s also portable, it’s certain to become my speaker of choice. If you want a portable speaker with excellent sound, you will not be disappointed with the Creative Muvo 20.

Surprising sound from such a small speakerMay 18, 2014
- Note - Reviewed using Bluetooth and Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (Android) phone -
The Creative Muvo 20 surprised me right off the bat. The first song queued up on my phone was "Go Down Matthew" by Melissa McClelland, and this little guy was on max volume out of the box. I was immediately impressed by the sheer amount of sound that this little guy put out. In an indoor environment, this thing is freaking loud (it was easily maxing out the 82dB reading from the Sound Meter app on my phone from 4ft away).
As long as you understand this unit's limitations - there's no real bass, it gets "squirrel-ly" on higher volumes, high notes are piercing - it's a great little portable speaker. It's not exactly small, but not huge - about the size of a normal roll of paper towels.
Set up was a snap. The instructions written on the box were simply this - Turn on, press bluetooth button, pair. It was that easy.
There is no external charger - the speaker only comes with a simple micro-to-regular USB cable and no usb-to-wall adapter, so you'll need some way to charge after the 10 hrs or so when the speaker dies.

This one actually sounds GOOD!May 27, 2014
By Marty Gillis
The market has been flooded with these little Blue Tooth self contained speaker arrays. Everyone says theirs is the one with the best sound, even mentioning the “great bass response” of their product, etc.
Let's get real here, you are NEVER going to get rich deep bass from these little units, but that doesn't mean you can't get good sound out of them.
Case in point: The Creative Muvo 20 ! Hands down the very best Wireless Blue Tooth speaker I have come across so far. It will provide you with sound that is both balanced and reasonable sounding up and down the frequency spectrum. While it won't sonically outperform some of the larger Boom Boxes from decades past, for the size and price it is truly hard to beat. (ever price D Batteries lately?)
Volume is more than adequate and actually quite impressive for the size. The Muvo 20 is not a cheap plastic piece of junk. (ok ,there IS plastic involved) It is well made and honestly for well under 100 bucks you are really going to get your money's worth from it.
Pairing with my Sony Vaio was almost instant and a non issue. I noticed no dropouts or interference during use either. The Muvo 20 basically works and performs as advertised. That is very rare with all the bloated hype out there to find a product that actually lives up to it's claims. I was not expecting much from this thing and was very pleasantly surprised.
Taking the Muvo and your phone to the beach will give you a nice little sound system that is both portable and powerful. Recharging is easy via USB. If you are on the fence about this one, go ahead and order it. I am willing to bet you won't feel you made the wrong choice.
Functions as advertised, decent build quality and good looks with a LOW price!
As such, it is recommended by ME, Marty G!

It just works!Dec 08, 2014
Overall the Muvo20 just works. I was very skeptical about it since its not beats ore bose. But I decided to take a chance and I am glad I did. I am really happy with the speaker since I can use it pretty much everywhere. I take it to the gym, picnic, beach, house gatherings and cooking. The design is perfect for my needs. It's additionally just intuitive and easy to use. I have had the product for about a month and it just works.
-Decent Sound Quality: it's clear and it has bass
- Big Sound: It gets pretty loud
- Easy: the nfc and Bluetooth pairing is simple.
- Size: Designed for the correct size. Any bigger it would be too big; Any smaller it will not be able to fill the room.
- It only comes with the charging cable not the usb outlet.
