I agree with the rest of the people who have complained that this at one time, very recently, was part of the original Software/Driver Package. Now, unfortunately, "Greed" has apparantly become more important than the "Satisfied Customer." Fortunately, I own the original software and am able to rip the Encoder from the Disk. On the other hand, as mentioned by others, there are much better MP3 encoders out there for absolutely free (Lame MP3 Encoder/K-Lite Codec Pack), etc.
Furthermore, if anyone would like a copy of the MP3 Encoder, lost the Software Disk that was originally included with your purchase...I think I umm, accidentaly uploaded a backup copy with my first purchase which can be downloaded somewhere online (bittorent) ;).
All a result of a former TERRIBLE Customer Service experience from Creative when attempting to acquire a copy of the disk that came with my hardware. It seems they are living up to their reputation these days still...Anyway, I paid for it, paid the ridiculous amount for the Hardware, and well, it was free at the time of my purchase.
On the other hand peoples, I wouldn't waste my time, as mentioned there are other FREE alternatives. Go Creative!!! You ROCK!!! NOT!!!

I purchased the Creative MP3 Audio Pack so that I can save recordings as mp3's. I've installed it and it doesn't work. I tried to e-mail customer support but since I don't have a serial number I can't do it. There is no serial number for this download! There is no option to simply send them an e-mail and describe the problem. I have never encountered such poor customer service before. $9.95 wasted on a program that doesn't work - never again!

Well there's MUCH MUCH better wav to mp3 (etc) transcoders out there all over the place for free...
They have much better encoders too than many low end bought pieces of software...

Sucks, Have to actually buy a piece of software that should (has always been in the past) free with the sound board. Not only that after purchasing the software, which is DOWNLOAD ONLY, it doesn't even download for 2 days!!!!!! seriously!!!!! I have to wait to download after purchasing?!?!?!?!?! PPPHHHHTTTTTT.
