the ipod wont go to off mode while this is connected. so when you sleep on music. you wake up with no battery left!

This Transmitter is supposed to make your iPhone, iPod and iPad devices compatible with the other Bluetooth Audio devices from Creative. Unfortunately I had to return the speakers and the transmitter for the streaming was really bad. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't, braking up so badly.
I can't believe that Creative has not developed their Bluetooth audio devices to be compatible with Apple products without the need of a transmitter.

While this device worked OK, it drained the battery so that my i Pod was playing for less than 3 hours with it connected. Amazon was very cooperative in taking it back.

Works like it should but with smaller iPods it does drain their battery quicker.
