 Best headphones for gym yet!Oct 31, 2009

Currently I think these are the best headphones on the market for active persons who want good sound quality. I would rate the sound quality a 7.5/8 and fit a solid 9.
I am not an expert, but over the past two years I have tried Bang & Olufsen, Shure, Klipsch, Sony, & Nike for a work out headphone solution. All failed except for the Bang & Olufsen A8's which have incredible sound, but the fit slowly started to fail after 3 months to where they keep falling off due to lose hinges. In ear headphones fall out as soon as you sweat and in ear/over ear combos never fit right or sound quality was 4 or less.
The Aurvana sound almost as good as the B&O's (bass response not as good), but the fit is even better. Plus I don't think they will loosen over time because they do not have a hinge like the B&G's. They stay on no matter what and sound great.
A quick comment on the previous review. How does customer support have any relevance to these headphones? You plug them in and listen.

Sound quality better than average, not as good as ear buds but ear buds make my ears sore. These are very comfortable. The wires that go over your ears are fragile as are the hinges used for fitting. Everything taken into consideration, this product is over priced. A problem with this or any Ceative product to keep in mind is there is no technical support.

I bought these to use while snowboarding and working out. Physical design is very good, as these 'phones are very light and they fit pretty securley around my ears. The problem is that I can't get them to fit snugly enough against my ear canal to get the full range of sound (mostly bass)...if I press against them with my fingers I can get much better sound - realy good...but I can't keep my fingers pressed against them when using them. Even so, with a diminished sound quality (when not pressing them against me ear canal) they are better than other 'phones I have used in the $30-$50 price range.

I listen to a lot of audible books on MP3 player and use a lot of earbuds / headphones. I normally use moderate price phones becuase I wear them out so fast. I wanted a really good pair to listen to music and decided to spend a little more for a quality sound.
The Creative Aurvana Air - Headphones exceeded muy expectations for the price. I have listen to the Sure line of expensive headphones and these are as good if not better. The sound is crisp and the bass is deep. The fit is extremely comfortable and you hardly feel them on the ear.
I still use the cheaper ones on a daily basis, but when I want to hear all of the music I put these on and enjoy the sound.

Great Headphones for any kinds of music(mostly like violin)May 27, 2011

Me personally loves headphones, currently using hd598,ibeats,and air. No wonder the price is diffidently lower than its value now, for me these worth about 150or so. The line for this is great no noise when you touch them, and also it comes with a bag and a line raper. It fits great, great sound the only thing its that it needs a quiet place to work, it not in ear headphones so it not block the outside noise. It's great for portable. The only weak point is that this headphones are not made for bass, but if you get the foam on it, the bass will the better than without. Overall this is a great pair of headphones, for this price why are you waiting. At last it works especially well of piano and violin.
