Decent Speakers for the PriceNov 29, 2010

"I like robots."
I wanted a set of low cost computer speakers that looks good and these fulfilled the role. However, I was quite spoiled by my last set of computer speakers, which was a Creative Labs T12. The A60 has very weak bass output, so don't use these to listen to club music or you'll be very disappointed. The fact that it has a bass port in the back is just a gimmick. However, it does have decent high and mid output.

buzzing mentioned in other reviews is not insignificantOct 19, 2013

I purchased these speakers because I wanted speakers to boost my laptop's sound to gain the capability of doing dishes and listen to music. I didn't need anything fancy and thought these speakers would be perfect. In the past, I have been 100% satisfied with Creative products.
These speakers do the job, excluding one serious issue that cannot be overlooked. Before purchasing these speakers I read in several reviews that the speakers buzz when no sound is being played. I assumed this was a minor issue and that the buzzing would be rather quiet. I was wrong.
The buzzing in these speakers is much louder than is acceptable under any circumstance. Not joking.
I have to admit there is a remedy to this situation, though not desirable, ameliorates the situation. Whenever I am not using the speakers, I turn them off.
Overall, the speakers would be perfect if it were not for the buzzing. They do the job of amplifying my laptop's volume. I expected more from Creative and am disappointed.

Bang For Buck.Oct 17, 2013
These speakers will in no shape, way, or form blow you away. They are incredibly average speakers and have almost zero bass. The treble is too tinny, and mids are just average. BUT they are incredibly cheap.. and, when you're sitting close to them, do get reasonably loud (before they try to kill themselves... so far unsuccessfully). So i would overall recommend these, just dont expect to get a 100 dollar set of speakers for less than 20 bucks...

Lousy soundApr 11, 2011
By Andrey Golik
The sound lousy even for speakers of this class. Built-in speakers of my monitor sounds better. I was looked for a very cheap speakers as background "beeper" and despite that I was disappointed. I think you can try to find a better sound for the same money.

Great speakers for the priceMar 04, 2013

The speakers are very clear sounding. You can use them at a very high volume setting without any static interference. I was very pleased in the performance. They even got a thumbs up from my husband that edits and produces music. Well worth it!
