Decent Speakers for the PriceNov 29, 2010
By P. Seow
"chopsticks user"
I wanted a set of low cost computer speakers that looks good and these fulfilled the role. However, I was quite spoiled by my last set of computer speakers, which was a Creative Labs T12. The A60 has very weak bass output, so don't use these to listen to club music or you'll be very disappointed. The fact that it has a bass port in the back is just a gimmick. However, it does have decent high and mid output.

Exactly what I expectedNov 11, 2011
By Pedram This is exactly what I expect as always very good design from creative this is what I like very much about creative I needed this speakers for my lab and I did not want a big speaker with loud base because I can't use it I just wanted 2 small speakers with minimum money spend and maximum sound quality I bought 2 logitech LS11 before this one and this one is so much better than those I bought those two because 4 star that people gave those that they does not deserve it , this should have at least 4 stars
cons : no headphone jack , bad volume placing and nob!

Lousy soundApr 11, 2011
By Andrey Golik The sound lousy even for speakers of this class. Built-in speakers of my monitor sounds better. I was looked for a very cheap speakers as background "beeper" and despite that I was disappointed. I think you can try to find a better sound for the same money.

Good product for the money.Feb 13, 2013
By K. Moore I purchased these as an opened item from my local big box store (Micro Center.) They were a few dollars below the retail cost, so why not save a few pennies. They are pretty small in size, which should tell you about the "bass" they would produce. Maybe 6 inch's tall and 2.5 inch's wide.
They sound pretty good for less than $20. Which is perfect for boosting a laptop's sound or even a small mp3 player (ipods, zune, anything small.) Don't expect to rock the house with these. They do distort at high volume, which is to be expected with small "all range" speakers such as these. I primarily use them at work for low volume music, games and YouTube. I would consider them the ol' get what you pay for type of deal. I give them 5 stars because they do exactly what I need and at a good price. Creative has never let me down and this proves it.
Not goodApr 14, 2013
By jjdickson The sound from these speakers is just awful. The speakers in my laptop are better, and I bought these to replace an old pair of active speakers that have, after 10 years, packed up, and they cost half as much. If you value your ears do not buy these speakers. I would give them no stars at all if I could.
